What happens to the hauled items?

We take an eco-friendly approach to our business and are pleased to say that 50% of our loads are recycled and we are constantly finding ways to improve. As part of our goal to help reinforce recycling in our communities, we continually team up with local charities. We donate 20% of all our good quality and usable items to charitable organizations. Only when we have reached the last resort, then would the remaining of the items be taken to transfer facilities.

What does your rate include?

Our quote includes labour, vehicle expenses, and recycling/disposal fees. Our prices are based on volume. This means that whatever space your items fill in our truck is the amount you will be charged for. Unlike some competitive companies who charge by weight, we charge by volume because we do not think that there is a precise measurement of weight in dump trucks. Most trucks do not have scales and measurements are estimations from the drivers themselves.

What is a cubic yard?

1 cubic yard is approximately equivalent to the size of a household conventional stove. The approximate measurement for 1 cubic yard is 3 feet wide by 3 feet high by 3 feet deep.

How big are your trucks?

Our trucks are 18 cubic yards. It is 12 feet long, 8 feet wide, and 5 feet high. They are 20% larger than most 1-800 companies. The amount to fill our trucks are equivalent to 6-7 pick-up truck loads.

Why can't I get an exact quote over the phone?

We'll try to provide as much information over the phone as possible to give you an idea of what the amount may be. However, it is difficult to give a firm quote without viewing the items personally in order to give you the best estimation for your junk removal and recycling needs.

Why are appointments booked within a 2 hour window?

The 2 hours window frame allows us time for transportation, loading, and recycling of your items. Once appointments are confirmed, we will arrive at your place efficiently.
