We used Keen-on Green Disposal and Recycling in early January. The things they took away included some appliances, cabinets, and miscellaneous material. They did an excellent job and they were careful in their work. They are very easy to work with and the cost was very reasonable. I would highly recommend them.

We do a lot of demolition on our job sites and Keen on Green is our disposal company, Wilson and his team are always on time, they sweep up, they’re very easy to get along with and getting a hold of them is never a problem. There was even an instance where I needed them here within an hour and they squeezed us in. That made the client really happy.

Wilson and his team helped my brother and I clean out our Mom’s house getting it ready for sale. It was a huge job and they did what they said they’d do when they said they’d do it. More actually, at the end of a long day of clearing out thousands of pounds of junk, Wilson was still careful enough to identify and save a suitcase containing the personal effects of my WWII Spitfire pilot uncle; photos and flight logs my brother and I had never seen.

Wilson and his team were fabulous! I was overwhelmed with the task of cleaning my mom’s house out which had 60 years of collecting in it. I was so impressed on how fast they were able to empty the house out completely. They all were efficient, courteous and took great care to make sure nothing of value went to the garbage. They also took great care in recycling what could be recycled! Great job! Thank you.

These guys really know what they are doing! I contacted them the day before I needed help and they fit me in. Wilson was incredibly helpful and accomodating. When they showed up at our apartment the two employees were kinda, polite, and SO fast at moving our two enormous couches out. Their prices are unbeatable too! After five days of searching through the internet for reasonable price. I finally found Wilson. I would definitely recommend their services to people who needs disposal of their furniture. They arrived on time, so friendly and accommodating, affordable price and last but not least have an excellent service. They even accommodated to my short-notice change of appointment without charging me extra money.

My parents recently downsized from their East Vancouver home to a North Burnaby townhouse. This meant they had a lot of junk that needed to be removed and it was my job to have this done. I really wanted to find a company that was environmentally conscious, but they also needed to have good rates. I did some research online and found Keen On Green. They were on time and very polite. I also really liked the fact that they charged by cubic yard and not weight. I have dealt with other junk removal companies in the past who remove by weight and the cost was an unpleasant surprise. It is so difficult to estimate the weight of all your junk. I would definitely use their services again and highly recommend them to anyone who requires junk removal services. They donate items that are in good condition and they recycle what they can, so you don’t have to feel guilty about being wasteful. Supporting a locally run company is also a plus.

I recently hired Keen on Green recycling to haul out the mounds of garbage I had collecting in my garage. I decided to choose this company because they had a straightforward website with an easy price breakdown, and I liked the fact that a lot of my garbage would be properly disposed of through recycling.
On the day of the haul, the workers were prompt and on time. The three of them worked quickly and were very considerate and respectful of my belongings. They even helped to disassemble some items that were nailed to the garage walls because I was pregnant and couldn’t do it myself. I valued their professionalism and everyone was very cheerful for an 8:30am job.
I found their prices very reasonable and fair. I have used junk removal Groupons in the past in hopes of saving money. But you cannot double up on the Groupon, and after the first 250lbs of junk removal, they charge you a pretty high rate. Plus, they give you a 4 hour window of when they will come, so there pretty much goes your entire day.
That’s why I decided this time around I would just hire a company like Keen on Green to dispose of everything. And at an exact time too, so it wouldn’t interfere with the rest of my day. I would definitely hire them again in the future and recommend them to friends and family, although I hope I will never accumulate as much junk as I did in the past!

This was a great experience. I was concerned about getting rid of a King size mattress, but it was no problem for Keen On Green. They came when I asked them to a opposed to many service calls who show up whenever it suits them. It was quick and efficient. I will definitely use them again.

Really nice guys, great job. Keen on Green took away our gigantic king size bed (including frame), and because of our house’s layout they had to practically fold the mattress in half. They came within two days of my email, got it out of the house without a fuss, and were polite, friendly and accommodating. Wilson dropped by to check in at the end. Great service.

We use Keen on Green as a part of managing a number of apartment buildings. They come at the end of the month and remove old furniture and whatever else tenants leave behind and they are great. They offer same day service, they are nice, polite fast and economical.

Having to clear my husband’s office of many expensive books, and not wanting to junk them, I was referred to KOG by a junk disposal company I often use. The two young guys who showed up were delightful in every respect – courteous, professional, friendly and capable. They cleared out the books and shelves with respect (sounds silly I know, but these were my husband’s treasures and I didn’t want to see them hurled into boxes by some uncaring person.) The guys even pointed out a few of his antique books that I had missed removing and asked me to take a look at them to make sure they weren’t of special value. We hear a lot about the working attitudes of millennials, but all I can say is that KOG employees are exceptional people in all respects. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

Wilson at Keen on Green Disposal was excellent to deal with polite and professional customer service. Their prices were very good and they honoured their over-the-telephone quote and came the very next day after I called them. I liked their policy of donating usable goods that they pick up to charity instead of just taking the goods to a waste transfer station or landfill. They had a very good online reputation for quality of service on various review web sites and with the Better Business Bureau when I checked their company’s profile as there are many junk removal businesses with questionable business practices including not honouring quotes by trying to overcharge customers once they arrive on site for the actually junk removal.

I used them to help haul away a huge load of tree cuttings and yard waste. They were great and I would use them again. Easy to book with (other outfits made me jump through to many hoops to get an idea of price before they would come…), Keen on Green made it easy, gave me a reasonable ball-park before they came, no haggling – stuck to price when they were here and did the work – with no hidden costs, and very friendly service. Good job guys keep it up. I’ll use you again.

Thanks for this and I wanted to say to you that I was really impressed when I got home yesterday and with how clean everything looked from where you removed the waste…  On the back side of the house where you removed all the vines and weeds we had removed, there was no ‘residual’ left on the grass and on the front yard I know that there was some dirt and small pieces of wood that fell off the pile we had there and it looked like it had been swept clean when we got back.  I really appreciated the fact that I didn’t have to go out and tidy up after you had removed the waste… it was like it had never been there!
